Two Socks is 13 years old. We have had him since he was 2 years old so we have done much of his training. Excellent on the trails. Goes through water and is used to being around tractors and four wheelers. The kids have followed along on cattle drives as well.
He can be tied out to graze. Two Socks is not lazy, he enjoys trotting and a good gallop. Can be ridden with saddle (which is available) and bareback with only a halter. No buck or bite.... (read more) Requires no special care other than no lush pasture or else he will founder. Good for the farrier for regular trimming. Easy to catch. My children have unfortunately outgrown him. Currently kept on dry land pasture with hay as needed.
