Nate has been in barrel training for two years and was running low 17.'s at the end of last year... around my area, that's a 3D time. We are taking a mental break from barrels cause he is getting frustrated and isn't likeing his job at the moment..... So we are doing halter and halter showmanship now, and out of the 6 or 7 shows we have attended we have won all but 3 and we won 3rd and all of those. That right there is proof... this horse is a looker. He is very comformationally correct, just lacking height.
Nate is has the best handle on him. He will back a mile, pivot on the back and on the front, side pass.... anything you name it. He would make a awesome roping or steer wrestling horse. He is very VERY quick! Or if someone has more patience than I do... could tune him up on the barrels and he would be a killer rodeo horse.
He has no bad habits, besides if he is left in a stall he sucks air... but I leave mine in the pasture.
