Additional Comments:
This gelding has been a pleasure to work with. He is a 10 year old with little to no history. He may or may not have raced. He may or may not be a full TB. To me, he looks like a TB cross. He has a beautiful face and head. He has excellent conformation. We pulled him out of a field where he had been for years. He is fun to ride. His movement is a 10. He is best suited for an intermediate rider. We have him lunging, riding western, and getting used to standing tied again. We have discovered he is a nervous rider when being trailered and is extremely nervous when he goes to new places. That would be his vice. He also is re-learning what personal space is. He is a like a piece of clay right now. He is ready to go in any direction you want him to. He has been ridden by me, my 14 year old, and my 4 year old. He is just a good guy. He rides quietly and has shown us no biting, rearing, kicking, etc. He does nibble the top of my boot and lick my boot. He is up to date on Coggins, shots, and rabies. He has had his feet done as well. From being let go so long, it will take 2 more trims for his feet to be where they should be. He is on no supplements. He is currently fed twice a day, has all the hay he wants, and is turned out with geldings. He is right in the middle of the pack as far as his herd disposition. He is a great horse for an intermediate horse person or an experienced horse person. It is not his riding that needs work so much as his trailering issue and he needs to be reminded of how to give personal space. He has a puppy dog disposition. He comes up to you easily and is totally relaxed when tied at home or in familiar surroundings. He will be the king of the he show ring with a little TLC. This guy can do flying lead changes and easily will correct his lead when asked.
