This is a wonderful little kids horse. He has been sitting in a pasture for four months with very few rides so he does need a few rides on him before a kid is just put on him. Not saying he will or has ever done anything, but safety is a big thing for me and children. My four and five year old love feeding and watering him. He has never tried to kick, bite or rear at them. He does not like to be pet like our other horse. He does squirm while saddling and getting on. All I did in the past to get him to stop was lounge him in a circle a few times and he put together that when he did that dancing he would have to work. We have put people on him that have NEVER rode before and let them go in an unfenced pasture along a major highway. He NEVER tried to runaway with them or buck. I put my boy on him and walked in front of him without hanging on to him and he just followed me.
