Due to unexpected circumstances I need to reduce my herd. Through no fault of his own I need to move some horses so Freddie's price has been reduced from $8000 to $5000 if sold soon. A good home is a must.
UPdate - Freddie attended his first schooling show in September and he settled in quickly and did a wonderful job at the flat classes (did not jump because it was his first show and wanted to keep it low key and make it a positive experience!). This is a horse that is ready to move on to his next stage of training so get him now before his price goes up and train him the way you want. Freddie is going w/t/c, backs up, and is starting work on leg yielding and small jumps. He has been on a few hacks in small groups and was very well behaved. He was bred for eventing but will catch the judges eye in any discipline. His Sire was Joint Verdict, a JC Thbd who retired sound at the age of 7 and went on to show in 4'+ jumpers. Dam's Sire was Exclusive Dinero (ApHC and APHCC) a multiple Western Pleasure and Halter Champion. The Dam was Eastern Ontario Western pleasure Champion in her younger years but I switched her to English where she placed in almost every class entered in Dressage and Hunter/Jumper up to 3' (schooled up to 3'6" - could have gone higher but I'm a chicken!). She is on site and can be seen. Freddie was just measured and he's now 15.3 hh. He is good for the vet and farrier and has never had shoes on.
Update: Freddie is now jumping 2'9" including oxers and double combinations. New picture is of his first day jumping oxers including all kinds of fillers (he didn't even look at them!). More pictures available. We've also started work on w/c transitions and shoulder-in. Asking $8K + GST (5%) - price will increase with training.
