ok - SO! I have this mare priced at 3500 - BUT! right now there is a broodmare that would cross REALLY WELL with my stud (this mare's sire)- and I am not allowing myself to have any 'additional' horses - so I am dropping her price temporarily (until that other mare sells and it is not to me ) to $2500 - Once that mare sells (not to me) then I will be directing Hottie (this mare) back toward showing this fall and her price will go back - this is a temporary drop in price only - thank you.

'Hot Chex R Easy' aka 'Hottie" is a hard working, business like mare - started on cows as a 5 yr old - she is extremely cowy but is not a sort/penning type - she likes to get a hold of a cow - not push it and go back. Was planning on starting to show her in club cutting as a 5 year old but I wasn't getting the time on her that I needed and I had a couple other horses that I was training so I turned her out for a couple years - brought her back in recently - rode her a bit and hauled her to a training session - she didn't lose an ounce of cow. She is a quick mover, highly opinionated and can be a little snarky if you make a mistake - she also toes in a bit but I have not babied her at all with that - if I have her on a cow or the flag - I boot her just like all my horses - otherwise she doesn't wear them. I keep her barefoot for about everything (turned out, arena - easy trails) unless I am going to be on hard, rocky ground - then she gets shod - she is an easy keeper, easy hauler, easy to tack - stands tied as long as you need - in the barn or at the trailer. I bred this mare and have been her only owner - it is in her best interest that I represent her right - pic is current and I am now working her in the direction of club cuttings later this year.

Company / Facility:
Wb Performance Horses -
Small facility. Standing two stallions that have the right qualities for siring superior working horses. Chex Colonel Lena - a beautiful, out-standing foundation bred and built cutting stallion that is stamping his colts with athleticism, looks and a ton of desire to work a cow.
Dun Breezin - a gorgeous, well built, well bred, very flashy buckskin Overo with no quit in him - his colts vary from working cowboy horses in the Sierras to show horses in San Jose.
I am blessed to have them both in my life.
