Additional Comments:
Soldier is a big flashy gentleman standing at 16.2hh as a 4 year old. He has been doing awesome in a training program, and enjoys his workouts. He has a great work ethic and learns very quickly. He is working nicely w/t/c both directions. We are working on relaxing in all gaits and he is catching on nicely. He is always very quiet and loves attention. He is a big lofty mover, and a very enjoyable ride. Soldier will make a great addition to someone's life. He is suitable as a children's mount, first show horse on the flat, low-level dressage, lesson horse, trail-riding, or a pleasure horse. He won't make be a competitive jumper, but will do well in most other disciplines. We also think he will look smashing under western tack! Don't let this sweetheart get away!! Soldier is up to date on all vaccinations, farrier, worming, teeth and chiropractic work. He stands very well for the vet, farrier, clipping, bathing, jumps onto a trailer - this horse does whatever you ask of him. Soldier is for adoption through Friends of Ferdinand Inc. (www.friendsofferdinand.org). Our horses are fully vetted and evaluated for tempermant and suitability. Adopting a horse is not only the most important part of horse rescue, but also adopting Soldier will not only give a horse a home that does not have one, it will help save another.
