King is an extremely nice ranch horse, the kind that every cowboy likes to ride. He is tough, athletic, well broke and very nice to look at. King is a flashy golden palomino gelding with a long white mane and tail, a pretty head and neck and a hip to die for. He is stout, 15.1 hh and close to 1250 pounds, with a wide chest, deep girth and four big, black feet. King looks like he belongs on the cover of the Quarter Horse Journal, and rides the way a ranch horse should ride. He is 11 years old, AQHA registered as “King Man Gold  $4429153. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/king+gold+man King has been ranch rode, and has been used for all phases of ranch work, including roping and doctoring cattle in the pasture, dragging calves to the fire, sorting cattle in the pens, and ponying colts. He has also spent time working cattle on a feedlot and has been day worked off of. King has been around cattle his entire life and knows his job well. He is very cowy, and tough enough to pull down a mountain if you asked him to. He is a well broke, honest, hard working horse. King has an excellent handle and a big stop. He has the smoothest trot and rocking horse lope, and will step right into a lope from a walk or a trot. He will sidepass, work off your leg, open and shut gates, and is very light mouthed and responsive. He will spin and do rollbacks and is quick on his feet and responsive. King knows his leads and will do flying lead changes. He is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn't spooky. He rides quiet on a loose rein, but has plenty of speed when you ask him for it. He rides great by himself or with other horses, will leave the group willingly and will happily lead or follow. He has also been ridden along the side of the road and in traffic and is not bothered by it. King is the perfect age to take in any direction, whether you want to use him on the ranch, ride him for pleasure, or take him to the arena and make a performance horse out of him. He is a super nice, athletic horse, but not suitable for children or beginners. CHECK OUT HIS VIDEO AT: King Gold man
