Elvis is a big horse in a Little horse's body. I consider him between Green Broke and completely broken for anything. He will cross water, I can ride him into the trailer, jump low jumps, and I have even dragged logs on him. Still needs to get past his phobia of plastic bags to be a solid trail horse. Stops, backs. has nice slow lope, fancy trot may be considered a "merry walk." UTD on shots through July 08. Current Coggins. He has never worn shoes, but I trim him regularly. His feet are good and his ground manners are good. He comes running if you whistle Has been ridden by 10 year old girl inside an areana. We are working on side pass, as well as gate opening and other new stimuli. All these still need more work. I have had him since 7/6/07. He is a good size for a child or small youth but isn't a first horse for a child. Perfect situation would be a youth that wanted to finish training their own horse. Please email any questions, or for pictures. Potential buyers are welcome to ride him. He is too small for me but he is classy looking and always draws compliments when I take him out in public. |
