Large pony small horse is what he will finish at he is solid confirmation and lovely long and low movement petite build marked nicely with good manners and a quiet disposition. Takes everything in stride and doesnt really look at much will be very easy to start under saddle. I am not sure of his date of birth but I know he is a 2012 will come with vet records to date as well as up to date on vaccinnes and trimming.
Stands good and does not kick or bite loves a good scratch and is being started on exposure, ground work and respect of space and proper leading now (as I am due in a month so I wont be backing him till late fall if he is still a round) He is not a spooky little guy and has the ideal temperment to be a childs horse. He is aware of who is holding the rope. Easy to catch although is specific as to how he likes the halter being put on. working on being a "normal" haltering but right now he prefers it his way.
He is pictured here on June 14 2014
Feel free to come out and see him south of Okotoks or text call or email if you would like more info 403-836-6383
Thanks for your interest.
He is 2 and has minimal handling up until late, a 2 year old is not going to be a good match for a 2 - 4 yr old child (except in rare situations its a good rule of thumb). He will be a good size for a kids pony and he has the right attitude but still needs work. by no means is he a schoolmaster of anything and is still a young horse. Getting better every time but I am limited to what I can enforce due to being 8 months pregnant. He catches well and leads politely although a bit sluggish
