This is Danny (registered in APHA as "HH Dans Indecision")
He is a lovely hunter gelding who can pack about anyone around a small course. He has made a great lesson horse before and has been wonderful and forgiving for me to learn on.
He is very solid just about anywhere. He doesn't get upset or nervous at other places, and has been shown at 4h shows, dressage shows, county and state fair. He's in great shape and certainly doesn't act his age. I've done just about anything on this very laid back horse. He could be described as a babysitter, but knows when you're a good rider, and you'll definitely get more out of him when he can tell you are. I frequently ride him bareback, down the road, and can swim him in our pond.
He's jumped up to 3'3" but is much more suited to up to 2'9". I've had him refuse jumps maybe 10 times in the last year; he's very honest, even if he knows he wasn't set up very well by his rider. He does well on the flat and is very responsive to your leg, especially as he was a dressage horse until he was 17, and has been a hunter since. He is kept up in his dressage training, as he has shown/exhibited through first level and schools second. He leg-yields at the walk and trot, and is starting at the canter.
He was born February 6th, 1996 (18 years old), is a solid 16.2, and easily 1200 pounds. He's quite built and very muscular. As mentioned before, he is registered in APHA.
He does not trailer in a straight load, but is just fine in a slant. He clips, ties, bathes, loads/unloads great, UTD on farrier/shots, and has been ridden extensively down trail, although it isn't his favorite. I'm selling him because I am getting another English horse and am limited on space. He is perfectly sound and I've never had issues with soundness. He is $5000. Will be negotiable to a good home. Make an offer, he needs to go ASAP! No leases.
