THE FRENCH TROTTER:
This breed was established in France in the early 1800's. There background came from Normandy Breeders importing English Thoroughbreds as well as using Norfolk Roadsters to produce lighter, more active horses. Crossing Standardbreds gave the French Trotter more speed and produced the modern French Trotters. It became a recognized breed in 1922. The average height is 16.2 hh!!!
This is a sweet colt who absolutely adores people! You can turn him out on 400 acres and no matter where he is, when you open the gate, here he comes! Super easy to catch (just have to know where your back pocket is because once he spots you, that's exactly where he'll be!), leads great, stands tied, loads (even in a two horse side by side trailer!!), hauls, bathes, 100% sound with no past or current health or soundness issues, up to date on wormings/shots, and has current coggins. Nice build and his flax mane and tail and blaze gives him a flashy look! Nice looking colt with an outstanding disposition and lots of personality!
