Additional Comments:
Very nice and stout dappled grey mare, flashy, gentle, good attitude, about 14.3 to 15 hands, rides quite, pays attention, no spook, no side stepping, great with the fly spray, easy to tack up, doesn't act mare-ish. Neck reins-but had to use leg pressure, direct reins easily, backs, rode in the round pen, arena and through the brush and trees, didn't mind the dogs, or the minature steer. She had been used as broodmare for the last couple of years and apparently didn't forgot much of her training. 5/26.08 UPDATE: We took Bailey trail riding and she was awesome, no spook, didn't kick the horses behind her, didn't mind staying behind the leader and didn't mind being the leader, was able to ride away from the other horses without issue, she crossed logs, brush, up and down rocks, was able to take her in the lake, had a baby owl fly up underneath her and she never budged............Great minded mare with a good attitude! WE ARE LOWERING THE PRICES ON OUR MARES AND TRADING THEM FOR GELDINGS, DUE TO THE HIGH DEMAND WE HAVE FOR GELDINGS, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH OUR MARES AND THEY RIDE GOOD, BUT ALL OF THE EMAILS WE HAVE RECIEVED RECENTLY IS FOR OLDER GELDING OR YOUNGER WELL BROKE GELDINGS....................WE ARE TRADING, BUT TRADES MUST BE WELL BROKE!!!!
