Flash needs a younger rider who can ride. Well built but he has more power than I am ready for. I am returning to riding at 46, had back surgery and my body can't do what it used to. My 11 y/o daughter rides him and he takes care of her but he is really to much for a little kid. Great horse but not the match we need. Flash is 14 y/o, and he likes to go trail riding, works in arenas, he has energy and moves big. Smooth gaits, I love his jog, he side passes and spins. He has no vices, except he can be fearful like all horses and he snorts.I clip him, bath him, good for farrier and vet, he loads and crossties. I have done some natural horsemanship and desensitization stuff with him and he catches on quick. Sometime in his past he was motivated by fear with his training, so I have worked with trust and he has come to know he can trust, but you have to let him learn you can be trusted. I think he has areas where he is "green", which is why I know he needs an owner who younger and athletic, can cue correctly, with timing and a quiet hand and seat. More of a western type horse but we ride him english as well. He is sound, and healthy, no supplements or meds, just had spring vacc, and new shoes on all four, teeth just floated, and coggins is neg (drawn Feb 2008). I need to find a gaited been there done that, dead broke till I get myself back to where I need to be. And Flash needs a younger "woman". Come and see him.
