I got Remington in June of 2012 from a woman who had rescued her from an auction. She had natural talent and a great work ethic. As an eventer, it was always my intention to compete her in eventing or dressage, but unfortunately school got in the way, so we mostly just schooled, worked at home, and trail rode. I rode her about 4-5 times a week, and she very quickly began to progress in dressage and jumping. I have a particular interest in dressage, so I spent a lot more time working on flat work and dressage than I did on jumping. On the trails with my dog she was calm and level-headed, and she goes out both in groups and alone.
Remi has had about a year off until a month ago. She has been being riden 5 times a week on trails and in the ring. She is schooling 2'3" and is very willing. We are working on her form over the jumps and continuing her flat work. She went to her first show and did wonderful placed 4th bout of 30 over fences.
I truly believe that Remi is a very talented girl and deserves a home where she will be ridden and handled often, as she thrives with attention.
Her natural inclination towards dressage and her enjoyment of work makes it difficult for me to see her just sitting out in the field. Good home is a must. Please call or email for pictures and more information 443-336-9294
