Chippie is forfor adoption from Trinity Horse Refuge
Chippie is a miniature horse that was brought to us and not suited for life at the Refuge. Chippie likes humans but does not do well with other horses. He has no horse manners and does not know when to give in. He chases horses less dominate then him and even with the full sized horses does not know when to back down.
Chippie used to live with a Llama and a goat and was fine with them. We think he would love a home with livestock or as a single horse. He can not be ridden due to a roach back, but can still be trained to drive.

Our heart is for the broken and hard to place horse We do currently have several who are adoptable though most of our residents are permanent. We are a refuge for the rescued and most of our residents come from rescues who would have to make difficult decisions in regards to the equines we take in if we were not available.
Our adoption fees are $400.00. An application must be completed and approved. You may call the office at 530-218-7214 and complete the process on the phone or visit our website and download a copy to complete.
