Ken will be a great companion horse either with older horses or youngsters as he is calm, quiet and gentle. He has front end lameness issues which severely limits any riding. He can be ridden on flat ground or in the arena, but basically at the walk only. He has an old cyst on the left front ankle that puts limitations on the flexibility but other than that is sound and healty. He's big, handsome, clips, ties, trailers, bathes. He's easy to catch and is a loveable guy all around.... (read more) He does have some sort of issue with his mouth - I don't know what caused it, as I got him as a rescue 2 years ago. He is hard to worm by mouth due to this, so I worm him with feed type wormer. He is current on shots, worming, shoes and will have clear coggins, etc. I would keep him, but am having shoulder surgery next month and will not be able to feed or do any chores for the next 6 months. I hate to let him go and will consider free to a really good, kind home for him.
