Danny has been my horse for 8 years and sadly I am going to college and I can not afford him. He has successfully showed up to 3ft but due to my own personal medical issues we retired from showing around 3 years ago. He usually follows me around with no halter and lead rope, his ground manners are great as I think it is very important in training with horses. He can go in a round pen and will go any direction you point, and knows the verbal commands of walk, trot and canter and requires no halter or lunge rope. (However outside a round pen use a lunge rope, the commands still work) He loves jumping and will literally trot in place after his first jump he gets so excited, I practiced his turns by training in barrel racing so he can turn on a dime. In the 8 years I've owned him he has only refused 2 jumps and I know he would love to get back into a jumping routine again, as due to my condition jumping is hard for me and he has been long since deprived. When I became ill Danny was quick to learn to let me lean on him and stood over me if I passed out or until someone came to take care of me. He is the most loyal horse in the world you will meet and I would also appreciate to visit him because he has been my loyal best friend for many years.
