Tara is a 14.3hh Polish Arabian Mare. She is nice to handle, responsive to ride and it's that sensitivity that would make her a real pleasure for a more experienced junior or adult rider. Tara can be ridden Western or English. She is well schooled on the flat and my 10 year old daughter has started her over jumps. Sweepstake nominated. Will only sell to a good home! Here is a list of things Tara can do: turn on the haunches, turn on the forehand, leg yield at the walk, trot, canter and standing still, collect and extend in all gates, flying and simple lead changes, she is quite supple, back up, smooth transitions, Has a vibrant reaching walk, Her trot is smooth and free moving, She has a balanced even canter, moves with lots of freedom both laterally and in her shoulder, She is a quick and sharp mover, Very intelligent, kind and well mannered, Ground manners are excellent, She has a square steady halt, works well both inside and outside arenas on may footings, has a powerful jump and a good collected head set.
