***SOLD*** Patches is a twelve year old grade paint mare that stands 13.2 hands. She has one blue eye and one brown eye. She is flashy and turns heads everywhere she goes. Patches has been used as a youth rodeo and play day horse for the last three years. She has done barrels, straight-away barrels, poles, stakes, goats, and flags. She will run by or stop on goat tying. She is automatic on the flag pattern. She will track a roping dummy, and let you swing a rope on her all day.... (read more) She is eager to please and a quick learner. She could easily be trained for break-away roping.
Patches qualified for the National Little Britches Finals in 2013 and 2014 in goat tying and flags. She has won money, buckles, and tack. She has been used at rodeo clubs, youth rodeos, cowboy church youth rodeo series, cowboy church play day series, Junior High Rodeo, and Little Britches Rodeos in Louisiana and Texas. She also ran at the 2013 National Little Britches Finals in Colorado.
She loads, stands tied, stands for farrier, and bathes without problems. She doesn't kick, bite, buck, or crib. She is an easy keeper, loves attention, and has a good temperment. She is very tolerate and a good baby sitter. Patches likes to be with other horses, but is the low horse on the totem pole due to her size. Up to date on all shots and clean coggins. She taught my son to ride, and got him to the next level. Sadly he has out grown her. She is too good of a horse to waste. $5000.00
