Ajax is a "been there done that" type of horse, he does it all when it comes to ranch/rodeo work. He has been in the parades, the grand entries, pick up horse at major rodeos all over the U.S. and Canada. Ajax has also worked at the PBR's dragging bulls out of the arena. He has the energy, the ability and the stamina of a much younger horse. Ajax is the type of horse the kids can ride at play days, learn to rope on or just ride for pleasure. He is the type of horse you can ride once a month or as a everyday using horse.... (read more) He will ride the same every time. Ajax is very gentle with a great disposition and will let you catch him anywhere, anytime. He has a great one hand neck rein, great stop and back up. He also side passes and you can open and close gates off of him. He has a smooth walk, trot and canter. Ajax has no problem walking in water, walking over fallen trees, thru thick brush, going up and down steep ravines with no spook. Ajax has the ability, the agility and talent to do many events in the western horse disciplines. Ajax would be great for ranch work, roping, sorting, penning, drill team, mounted patrol, polo, play days, walk-trot, lead line or a lesson horse. He is very gentle, easy to catch, with great ground manner and he gets along with other horses (mares and geldings alike). Ajax is a stout horse and can hold up the largest/tallest of individuals. He has no vises, is easy to handle, bathe, clip, and groom. He loads and hauls very well. He is easy to saddle/bridle, pick up feet, stands well for mounting, stands tied and stands well for the farrier. If I needed a using horse Ajax would be the first one I'd go to. He is very dependable and solid, he's built like a using horse should be and he has a good head on his shoulder. Like I said "Been There, Done That". He is gentle enough for a ranch kid learning "the ropes" and can keep up with mom or dad that wants something they can rely on.
