I have only had Streak a few months. I am selling her due to a busy competition schedule and personal circumstances. I took Streak on as a horse I could work with over the winter (she needed a tune-up). My intention was to use her as a trail horse and do some games with her. Streak is a FUN horse to ride, she's quick and very athletic. She's better suited for an more experienced novice or an intermediate rider due to her quick movements.
She's smart and easily taught.... (read more) She has a good disposition, always easy to catch and easy to handle. Streak has great gaits and moves nicely. To this point I have been working with her on Natural Horsemanship and just general riding. She does have some professional reining training. Her previous owner was a novice rider that used her strictly for trails which is why I wanted to give her a little bit of a tune-up before the summer. Her only vice is the trailer, sometimes she can be difficult to load and other times she walks right in. Its apparent that someone would be able to get her past the infrequent trailer issue if they are willing to work with her. She does have a scar on 3 legs (lower) due to a run in with a barbwire fence years back, it has zero affect on her. She was cleared by the vet on soundness, no need to hold back on anything with her. Streak is the kind of horse that needs a job and loves to work. She gets along great with the horses she is pastured with. UTD on all shots and coggins. I'm sad to let her go but given the circumstances I have to sell her.
