Additional Comments:
Jet Step'N Sundancer, barn name Socks, is a wonderful 7-1/2-year-old, solid, registered Appaloosa performance gelding with lots of chrome! Extremely athletic, kind, good-natured horse with no buck or rear. As a 4-year-old, he had 90-days professional training by Chelsea Taylor in the Clinton Anderson Natural Horsemanship method. Training was followed by 200+ trail rides. In 2013, he had 120 days professional training by Jess McMillian in Parelli Natural Horsemanship method to improve cadence, collection, side-passing and gate opening. He has pushed cows on a few occasions and did well.

Socks is the horse that runs up to you in the pasture wanting to put his nose in the halter. He loves to work. He easily jumps 2'9ââ¬Â and will go for hours. His ground manners are exceptional. He actually likes working in the round pen. He is good for the farrier and has wonderful feet and has never required shoes. He is 100% sound and has never had a health problem. He is current on vaccinations, trim and dental.

He is known as Mr. Personality. If you ask him if he wants a cookie, he will nod his head up and down. He likes to unzip jackets, pull hair clips, anything for attention. He thrives on attention and loves to be groomed. He will stand for hours while children braid his mane and tail. He enjoys baths. He is an easy keeper. We feed him grass hay, occasional alfalfa and Healthy Edge feed.

Socks enjoys working and does best if ridden frequently. He never gets barn sour, even if there is a month or two off, but he well get a little nervous if it's been awhile. He is easily brought back with 5 minutes in the roundpen. He is perfectly happy going for a slow walk on a trail or moving out for a distance. He has a big engine. An intermediate or experienced rider is preferred, as he has a very soft mouth, knows his leg cues, and performs well for a good rider.

His sire side is out of the famous Jetset Gigolo, the #2 Appaloosa in the country. He was sired, born & trained in Colorado. We have owned him since he was four.

His pedigree may be viewed at:
