Missy is a 2 1/2 year old, 15.2h, sorrel with a pretty blonde mane & tail, blaze, & white socks. Missy has beautiful conformation with long legs and a long neck. She is a walking, shaking, true gaited filly on keg shoes. Missy has plenty of talent to be an ideal Lite Shod or Plantation mount. She has an excellent head shake, and uses herself well. Her gait is smooth keg shod, she has a ground covering easy canter, and she has a head full of sense. She has been trail ridden some as well and is sensible and sane, encountering new situations with a level head and willing attitude. She is not spooky and always works hard to do what is asked of her. Missy has navigated some of our toughest trails, and has even helped us blaze some new ones! Recently we participated in a field trial with guns, dogs, swampy ground, mud, ditches, plenty of water hazards, traffic, and lots of other horses. She was excellent and never flinched at the gunfire less than 10 yards away, birds flying overhead, or horses running by her. She didn't mind if the gallery ran off ahead of her, she'd happily ride in the back, middle, or front. She would definitely be great trail mount anywhere you want to go. She has also been shown and is a walking, head shaking machine. Missy garnered a top ribbon in a huge trail pleasure class in her first outing. Get a blue ribbon on Saturday night, and hit the trails all day Sunday! Missy has a whole background of color- her sire is grey, both paternal grandparents are grey, her dam is a pure white former top Lite Shod mare in Tennessee. She has lots of old time blood including close relation to Delight Bumin Around, Triple Threat, Prides Gold Coin, Ebony Masterpiece, and B Major Wilson.
