Nice 9yr old Palomino Dun Mare for sale. 14.1 hands about 1000 pounds. Excellent ground manners, loads, ties and is great with her feet. This little mare is excellent on the trails and can go all day. Crosses water, goes over trees and is very sure footed in rough country. She is very quiet on the trail and is excellent to pony as a pack horse. Bee can be ridden alone or with other horses. I would recommend an intermediate rider for her because she can get busy at times and you must ride her with a light hand and light leg (she is very sensitive to pressure).
I am selling her as a SOUND trail, pleasure, ranch, pack horse or broodmare (PSSM1 n/n) to an approved home. She had some previous injuries when I purchased her that prevents her from being a performance horse. (e-mail for pics). She can get sore from continuous tight turns such as barrel racing, pole bending, reining, ect. but not lame. No issues with trail/pleasure riding at all with either of these injuries. Ranch work such as checking or moving cattle would not be an issue either.(Video of Bee moving cattle end of March 2014 upon request)
Bee has a sweet personality with beautiful coloring. Even though she is only 14.1 hands she is stout enough you do not feel like you are on a small horse. Bee is a great granddaughter to Doc O Lena and has Leo, King and Bill Cody just to name a few in her lines. You can see her pedigree at www.allbreedpedigree.com/bee+bees+baby.
Bee had a nice Palomino colt July 21st 2013 that my husband is keeping for himself. She has had one other foal that was registered through the AQHA in 2007 and it was a Buckskin colt so, we know she can produce nice color.
This mare will go to a approved home only! She was just trimmed, wormed in April, had her teeth floated in March.
Serious inquires only please! Asking $1,250.00
