Excellent Trail or Show Gelding, Chocolate/flax

Amigo is a great gelding with miles and miles of trails in the mountains of WV and VA. He has a willing attitude, aims to please and will go virtually where you point his nose. He has a smooth, ambling gait on a soft rein. He is not spooky and takes good care of his rider. He has been gently trained in the round-pen and has been my personal mount for the last year. Ridden on a weekend camping trip in July '07 by our 13yr old neice only 90 days after I began riding him and he did a wonderful job for her...(and she only gets to ride about once a year!) He has even been shown once locally. He is at ease in campground tie stalls as he is in a barn stall. He cross-ties, bathes, shoes, stands for the vet. He loves to be groomed and loved on and readily loads on a trailer. Amigo is very well-mannered and will only get better with time. Amigo Blue blood. Soggy Bottom Farm - We are a small, family farm in Charleston, WV who trains approximately two or three horses per year for safe, all around family companions. We train using gentle, natural horsemanship methods and our horses have many miles on the trail. We also take them camping, showing, etc.
