Salsa is a very curious boy. He was highpoint halter yearling for South Dakota. As a four year old, he was used for huntseat lessons for a 12 year old girl. He had been started lightly over jumps and trail ridden. Then he sat in a pasture with little human contact for about five years. I bought him almost two years ago and he was in training for a few months for a tune-up. The past two summers he was trail ridden quite a bit. He can be pushy on the ground but he gets better the more he’s worked with.... (read more) I haven’t ridden or done much with him since summer. He does have a longer back so he wouldn’t be a good show horse. Also, speed is not his thing, he doesn’t take off or like to go fast, hes happy just walking and trotting. He stands good for the vet and farrier. The only reason I’m selling him is because I can only have one horse and I’m looking for something I can show. $1000 o.b.o
