Legend is a nice beautiful gentle tri paint stud. He's 15 yrs old and stands 15 hands tall. He's very well mannered, easy to bath, loads, stands still tied, and even rides. Has beautiful long flowing forelocks, mane and tail and can turn some heads when he comes out of his stall. Legend loves attention and is easy to catch will walk right up to you. I rub his head as he drops it into my chest. He stands still to get on and will take you for a fun ride. He can be ridden by himself, group, even with mares and is a well mannered. If he nickers at a mare all you have to do is turn his head the opposite direction, tell him no sir and give him a gig in the ribs. And he will continue down the road like a gentleman! Several friends and family have been ridding him from experienced rider, to a 15 year old boy, even our AZ family. They came in for the holidays and never rode a horse before got on him and took him down the road for a ride. I don't know very many studs that will let do that! I have several video's of him being ridden here's a few for now. And the rest is on my youtube.com. Tri Paint Spotted Saddlebred Legend Legend
Legend is looking for a new home that will enjoy him and have a nice place for him to run. Be nice if he was someone's personal horse that will give him the love and attention he's looking for. I would love to keep him but I do not have a place laid out for him to enjoy the green grass's of summer in a pasture of his own.
Asking $750, a good home is a must!! Give me a call I'll be glad to tell you more about him, better yet come on out and meet Legend in person. Be glad to saddle him up for you to ride yourself. My name is Jim @254-625-2711 or Karen @ 409-750-1295.
Thank you for looking and as always God Bless!! Watch YouTube video
We will be glad to deliver Legend to your home for a small fee. If this will help you decide to buy him.
Company / Facility:
Rock'n A Ranch -
We raise/train/buy/sell horses for a living. We start a young horse first with ground work and decentize them to be calm, safe and not spooky. And continue on with ground work all the way to breaking them to ride to a finished horse with no buck, rear, or bolt. For the horses that are broke we work with them on whatever issues they may have from decentizing to tune ups. Before we put them up for sale.
We have 50 acres that we use to ride and train: 4 horse walker, 120 ft circle arena with a 50 ft round pen inside it, also a 150 ft x 150 ft riding arena, a mile oval tilled track, threw a large tank, woods with obstacles, etc. Things that you would experiance on a trail ride. As well as ride them along hwys, over bridges, around cattle, dogs, noises, tractors, etc. If we can't ride them we don't sell them!! Unless otherwise noted as in "NOT Broke"!
