UPDATE: Sarge has been under a saddle several times this summer and is a great, smooth horse! He does need encouragement to move out though. But having over a year off when we got him...who can blame him for not wanting to do a lot of work!! But he is a great boy. He has not been on the trails yet. We have just been working him in the pasture. He is sure to make someone a flashy, smooth horse! And his personality is awesome :)
Sarge is a 8yo Registered Paso Fino gelding. He is Columbian bred and a nice mover. He has been on "vacation" for the past year, so he needs a refresher course. With this being said, he needs a rider with experience bc he will test you in the form of a few bucks...he has not done this since we brought him home late winter and been working him regularly.When he figures out you're not going anywhere and he's not going to win, then he'll get down to business. But this will go away with some constant riding. He will be best suited to be a one on one horse. He will bond tremendously with his rider given his personality and what he's shown us so far. He's just an adorable little guy. So come on out and visit Sarge... Size ISN'T everything ;)
