Chief is a purebred unregistered American Saddlebred. Chief stands 16.3 hh and is a sweet, goodnatured, gentle giant. He is sorrel with two back socks coming up to the fetlock. Chief has had many hours under the saddle. He started out as a well trained head trail horse at a horse ranch. Chief is a great horse for any experience of rider. He rides away from other horses fine and can be used to just jump on and ride down the road or trails alone. He has been ridden western and bareback and can also ride double. Chief is sound and has nice big feet. He has been used the last 7 years for the Sheriff's Mounted Posse. Chief has patrolled many events and been in many parades. He is a very bombproof unspooky mellow horse. We are parting with him to cut down on the number of horses we have.
