Picasso is a 6 year old Mini spotted donkey. He is still a Jack (not gelded), but you wouldn't know it unless you checked. He does not act like he is intact. He is 34" tall. It took him a few days to warm up to me when I first got him but now he is very friendly and easy to catch and halter. He leads, stands to be groomed, picks up all four feet, is good to have his feet trimmed, is easy to de-worm, and loves to be groomed.
You can walk behind him, and touch him all over. He does not kick or bite. He will walk over anything you ask...pallet, tarp, logs, etc. He is not spooky, does not mind plastic bags flapping around or putting a tarp over him. He was briefly sat on by a small child and did not mind but I don't think he is broke to ride. He ties pretty well, he will move around a little but has not pulled back, just needs a little more practice.
He is good with the other horses and ponies that he is pastured with. He is at the bottom of the herd of both mares and a gelding, and does not challenge his position at the bottom. He does like to play with a buddy every once in awhile.
Asking $150 OBO. May consider trades for horse quality hay, or ???? Let me know what you have.
All videos here are of him on this playlist except one that was another donkey I sold: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjZ31jy81a2GKQdLzTd4eeobdp4Ytb1Ud
I do not own a trailer so you must pick him up.
