Our kids are grown and the wife does not ride anymore, thus we regretfully are offering Sugar for sale. Shee has been with us for 8 years and has logged many trial miles, carrying my wife, kids, and guests safely across fields, up and down hills, across bogs, creeks, etc.
Sugar is extremely consistent in her walking gait; no skill or knowledge is needed
to keep her gait smooth. Her ground manners are excellent and Sugar stands well to be groomed, saddled, and have her hooves picked. Sugar would make a great horse for a beginning rider. We have taken novice, first-time riders, on trial rides with her. Sugar does not spook at anything. She has ridden in the yearly Delaware Horse Parade and had no problems with the noise, crowd, or any other distractions. She also loads easily and stands well for the farrier.
