Kiado as i have told you is a 4 yr old Clyde/Paint Pony with basic training in dressage and jumping so far - mainly poles and what not at this point. He was used for a season of beginner lessons and acted like he had done it his whole life. He has been out on the trails, free jumped 3 ft as a 2 yr old. He has a very smooth trot and i think his canter will get that way when he finally levels out and finishes growing, he has had troubles with that because of growth spurts, but i plan to continue developing his canter and start him over x rail courses as soon as we get some nice weather here. He could go english or western, great with kids and timid riders as well. I have had him since he was a yearling as a training project and have since acquired a horse that is more of a challenge and more athletic for me to progress with. I think instead of having 2 decent horses while im going to school and have other commitments i would rather put all my money into lessons and shows with one of them and find someone who would like Kiado as their partner. I think he has capabilities of doing anything, his desire is to please. You would be amazed by the temperament on this guy and that it was possible for people who didn't know how to ride were riding him (lightly) i must add as a 2 yr old. Here are some pics of him, I don't have current stats since he is still growing and changing but as of the last time i measured and weighed him he was about 1600-1800 lbs...seeing as he is half clyde, 15.2-15.3hh, black/bay in color, more black in the winter i would say. P.S as you can see from the pics below i haven't really been able to get any action shots other than him free and nothing that does him a whole lot of justice in terms of finding him a good home but if you are interested as soon as it gets nice enough i plan to get pics of him undersaddle in dressage, jumping and once i get him going again ill have a video too.
