"Kid Safe" Registered Quarter Horse. We have owned "Doc" for 3years. He was brought for my daughter was 10years old at the time. This was her first horse and we wanted a horse that was as close to Bomb Proof as we can get and Doc was all of that. Doc is great horse for a young kid or adult just starting into riding horses. He is very safe and well mannered on trails and in the arena. No "vices". Cute and personnable. Loves people and to be rubbed on.... (read more) Comes to you when he sees you in the pasture. If he is not in site just kiss or whistle and he will come up. No "temper tantrums", no bucking, kicking, rearing, barn sour, or buddy sour. Will ride out alone or in group. Rides Western and will ride English. My daughter also rides him bareback and bridless. Doc neck reins, backs, knows his leads, etc.. Would make a good lesson horse. Not spooky on trails, which was a must since my young daughter was riding. Great horse!! Good with farrier, traileriing, clipping, tying etc.. UTD on all shots, 100% sound. The only reason we are selling "Doc" is beacuse my daughter is older now (13yr old) and wants a bigger horse to do hunter jumper. To a good home only.
