Conformationally, this is an exceptional filly. Coco has a HUGE hip and is well balanced and well muscled, with a pretty little head. In addition to beauty, she has brains. She is a pretty mover and likely will take after her dam, my favorite trail horse for years, with the smoothest trot of any horse I've ever ridden. Her dam was also my go to horse for beginners wanting to ride due to her kind and laid back temperament and easy to sit trot. This filly's good mind and excellent temperament make her a good candidate for a 4-H youth looking for a NICE filly at an affordable price. She would be competitive in Halter due to her balanced conformation, muscling and pretty head. Very feminine filly. Her breeding, movement, and athleticism would also make her competitive in other events, such as Western Pleasure or Hunter Under Saddle. This filly is everything I was looking for in a replacement mare, except for one thing. Her low price is due to her PSSM status. I discovered that the stallion was positive after the mare was already bred. Unfortunately, the filly tested n/P1, which means she is also positive. Still in the early stages of PSSM detection and study, it is believed that some horses exhibit little to no symptoms, while some are quite symptomatic. It is also believed that many horses who do have symptoms can be managed with the proper diet and consistent exercise. This filly's PSSM status traces back to her sire's dam who was used as a calf roping horse with success and no tying up issues. This filly has been handled and had her feet trimmed regularly, is on a rotational deworming schedule, up to date on all vaccinations, halter broke, leads, loads, ties, etc. If you are interested in finding out more about this filly, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I will be happy to answer any questions or set up a time for you to come meet Coco in person. Thank you for looking!
UPDDATE: This filly has now been moved to our new location in Granville, Ohio.

Rancho del Marr -
At Rancho del Marr we strive to breed American Quarter Horses with excellent conformation and good minds...
horses that are athletic and trainable... with enough bone to stay sound... and quiet enough to take out on the trail.
The original American Quarter Horse was bred to be versatile... cowy and athletic enough to do a day's work on the ranch, and quiet enough for the whole family to enjoy. It also doesn't hurt that our horses are pretty. After all...
Life's too short to ride an ugly horse.
