I am putting my handsome 15.3hh 10 year old off track all bay thoroughbred gelding up for sale.. I am currently asking for 4200(NEG), without tack I am selling for 3200 also Neg.. If he is purchased with tack it will include his rain sheet, and winter blanket , the comfiest mondega saddle, chest piece/running martingale, bell boots, jumping front and back boots, bridgles/bits, brushes, everything will go with him.
Spider has all of his basics including jumping. We are just starting to jump again after taking some time off for the both of us. He does love it. He will jump just about anything. Beautiful transitions from halt to trot/canter. Does need some work on his left lead though, and it's coming along very quickly. Very smooth gait and beautiful stride. He's very easy to ride, no strong or beginner rider will ever have a frustrating or hard ride on him. Always willing to work, and knows his job. He can also go under a surcingle and lunges very nicely, under a Pessoa included. He knows all of his verbal commands as well on the ground and in the seat. He loves when you talk to him but responds to leg and hand just as nicely. Comfortable under any bit, draw/side reins. I am trying to build larger muscle on him in his hind, using draw reins is doing the trick quick!
Up to date on everything! Farrier every 6 week, has 4 shoes no corks, I put 4 on him for now but could only need his fronts done if desired. Deworming was done September 8th, Shots are being done this coming week, Coggins is being done September 10, and teeth Floating September 10th as well. Very friendly and will follow you like a puppy. My reason for selling is I am looking at another horse (younger/warmblood) to lease out, my riding needs to go to part time as I am going to school soon and I just want him to go to a easy, and loveable home. He is good with or without other horses. I believe he could make a great lesson horse. He would make a great lesson horse to the intermediate/advanced rider. Hunter, jumpers, eventing, even pleasure, he can do it all! He isn't hot, and is always at a calm temperament. Hasn't spooked, bucked, or reared..With new people can be a little testy on the ground but as long as you have enough experience and you are not afraid to put a horse in their place, he will leave it at that. He has only been bad to me once or twice and once he understood who was boss he understood, and still follows me around like a puppy!
He hasn't had injuries at all since I have had him but recently moving to a new barn he did manage to give himself a cut on his back left hock. It is not hot, its not swollen or infected. The vet did come out to cut the skin flap off on last Monday the 7th and it is healing, it is just really ugly and it just needs the time. I am just lightly riding him but he is doing just fine with it.
If anyone wants to try him out it will have to be on weekends. Contact me through here or call/text I can also send videos upon request of jumping or flat, more closer pictures included. I love him to bits and it's hard for me to sell him, he is truly a great horse. 780-863-8801 call or text, or email !
