He is very well broke and gentle. He loads, stands for the farrier, good ground manners and has a few cracks in his feet, but is sound. Our girls have went off to college and we have too many horses. We have rode him on trails, in the sandhills, we have dogs and other animals and they don't bother him. He is easy to catch and comes right to you. He puts his head down to be halterd or bridled. He stands when you get on him. I would say anybody could ride him and when we have friends stop over this is the guy they ride!... (read more) He needs to know who is in charge, but he doesn't rear, kick, buck or bite. We have had him since he was 4 years old and will only sell him to a good home.
