Market Genius, aka Ginny, is a 2007 bay mare standing 15.3hh. She retired sound from the racetrack after 42 starts. She walked off the trailer, into the barn, into the cross-ties and was under saddle going around like she's been doing it all her life. Truth is, she had had enough of the racetrack. In her last races, she pretty much just cantered around. But on the farm, she is happy as a clam.
Ginny quickly worked her way into the lesson program and has demonstrated that she is a rather uncomplicated and quiet mare. She is athletic though and she would do well with an intermediate young rider or an adult re-rider. She has good bone and is built with substance and has no limitations or injuries. Ginny is approved for anything her rider wants to aim her toward.
We think she would particularly excel with a rider who wants to do hunter/jumper work or even cross country. Ginny recently went xc-schooling and she was fantastic! Once she figured out what she was there for she started looking for her next fence, even eyeing a few training level fences. She still needs more flat work to get that nice shape over the jump every time but she is more than capable and willing to lean. She is very happy to do her job and is going to make a very nice eventing horse.
Her adoption fee is $2,000.
