Sobieski is a powerful and extra friendly horse who looks like his ancestors--a Polish Arabian Warhorse! Though Polish Arabians are not longer used as cavalry mounts, Sobieski's appearance is true to his roots. Personality-wise, he is more like a big friendly dog. Sobieski has a strong athletic build, loves trail riding alone or in groups, and is a solid and willing jumper. He has high withers and champion bloodlines, comes right over when he is called, and just adores human attention. Well trained with Natural Horsemanship techniques, he is brave when encountering new things on the trail and looks to his rider for guidance when something unexpected happens. Sobieski is barefoot and totally sound; has great ground manners; stands still for mounting; and and easily ties, loads, and stands for the farrier.
