The story is they were trained to ride and drive by the Amish. Purchased 5-7 years ago and kept mostly as pets. We have had them for almost a year. Our hope was that they would remember their training and make a good pair of trail horses. We have done some riding with no problems. Unfortunately due to our lack of time we have not been able to do enough riding with them. They are great with ground work and with consistent riding they will be a fun pair.... (read more) We would like to see them go to a nice home that would be able to use them more. They must be kept together as they have been together their whole lives. The vet estimated their age at around 11. The mare, Athena, is blind in her right eye. Due to not knowing their background we do not know the reason for this. She does not have any issues with her blindness. The gelding, Apollo, is smaller and a bit of a clown as you see with his funny face. Offers considered to the right home.
