Lots of inquiries, please be patient with us, we werent expecting all the interest. So far she is still offered for your consideration, Cricket is a very sweet and very smart mare. She is broke to ride but NOT registered, we had tried but the origional owner had family problems so we decided not to mess with it. Cricket is 17.1hh tall. She rides well but cannot drive yet. The reason for not being able to drive is I have never trained a horse to cart, my sister and I rehabilitated her and got her well under saddle.... (read more) She has been part of a petting zoo before and did fantastic with all the small kids. She would lower her head for them to pet her and she'd fall asleep. She doesn't like to trailer but my sister has gotten her to the point of willingly getting her front half in, a little more time and that will not be an issue. When we got Cricket her hooves were AWFUL, so we took her to our amish friends to trim her, since she was so large they put her in stocks and she just dozed off. Since then they've always done it that way we haven't tried it without. No bite or kick, she has bucked but that was last year when the rehab started, nothing since. Cricket is crazy smart! She is a clyde so slow and easy is her way, but in the pasture she loves to run. Origionally my dad wanted her for trails, she turned into a little more than he expected work-wise. Cricket is $1000 by herself or a trade on a 15hh+ gelding trail broke. We had bought a cart and harness for her that we didn't use. If you would like that too she will be $1500. The harness was a bit big when we tried it on her but I'm pretty sure it can be adjusted (was bought a "Percheron made"), will send pictures on request. For more info or to come see this beauty please e-mail anytime (Subject must be Cowgirl or I will not answer I will consider it spam and it will be deleted) text anytimt or call in the evenings (765) 437-9196. Thank you for your interest. If you are wanting to trade please send pictures and details of your horse, (exclude gaited breeds due to a past experience unless no gait) mares will be considered but gelding is preferred. Thank you. We would like to keep her within a 3 hour drive time from Kokomo if at all possible. (MORE PICTURES HERE: http://kokomo.craigslist.org/grd/4072398060.html)
