Additional Comments:
He is a liver chestnut, and is 12.2hh, 13 years old. he has been a lead line pony for children and a carnival pony for the first few years of his life. then just used by a mans children and for birthdays. I have put about a year of extensive training on him in all fields of riding. i still do birthday parties with him on ocasion and still do pony rides for small children. At the moment he will go english, western, bareback and he will pack like a dream. He can foxhunt, he can also jump about 3' maybe 3'6'' which is extremely good for a 12.2hh pony. He can play polo, trail ride, pack, he has worked with cutting, reining, just playing with direrent types of livestock, he has been working with me for the last month on doing trial work to my jumping trails, he will pull logs dead trees and anything in the way out for you of a certain size but he does great. He has had no major health concerns except for one case of pre founder. Two years ago the spring grass had just come up and the people that had him next door to say the least didn't know what they were doing and just turned him out in the field. so I came over and redid his feet shaped them up cooled them every day with the water hose and got him back to normal before anything happened. He does however require that during the spring and some of summer that he has a grazing muzzle (a new one will come with him) unless your grass in you field isn't really green and lush. he is a very easy keeper he will stay tied to a tree on an overnight without a question, electric fence, high tension wire, board fence, you name it he wont touch it. At the moment he is in a field with my mare and they have about two acres in the front and two in the back just for them. We had recently moved and are in the process of getting the barn itself up but the do have run-in shed to be under and blankets if it gets that bad. I had last rode munchy Friday and actually am planning on riding him today. He will go anywhere do anything and is great with or without other horses. He just loves to go. Also all tack comes with him both his English and western saddle, bridle, saddle pads, halter and lead, grazing muzzle, blanket and fly mask. the asking price is $1800 obo.
