GHOSTWALKER..2005 Grey / Roan Fllly by Buddha out of Princess Dehere (Dehere). This is a big structured, well grown attractive filly with big powerful hind quarters, shoulders and chest. Her dam has an RNA 130K progeny by Songandaprayer entered in the OBS March 2008 Select Sale. Dam is touted to be an excellent producer and this filly is so far a good testimony of that. She is currently up to 5/8's breezes and is a big structured filly, that floats like a "GHOST" with her long stride and intimidating size (Hence her name). Some say "SHE IS THE GHOST WHO FLOATS". She is Race Ready and apparently one of the better offsprings from Buddha (Unbridled), being out of a classy Dehere mare, who himself is an outstanding broodmare sire and one of our main reasons for acquiring this filly. Her Sire Buddha has a higher percentage of stakes fillies progenies over the colts or geldings. Currently "Hissee" by Buddha and trained by Steve Assmussen won the Sarah Lane Oates S., Laurel Lane Stakes and 2nd in the Crescent City Oaks at the Fair Grounds 2008. Ghostwalker has a great disposition, attitude and is a classy individual. Besides dirt, she has noted turf pedigree which affords her much versatility and is bred to go long, but is fast based on her current breeze fractions. On her breeze of March 4th (half mile breeze), a horse that raced at Calder could not come alongside her and she then left him in the stretch, showing good tactical speed on several occasions. These are just some of the guages we use to asses this fillies talents and she figures to come in at a very creditable level, possibly one of allowance or stakes type. This filly has an A Werk Nick Rating, producing much proven successful and stakes level horses from this elite bloodline cross. Excellent residual as a valued broodmare, stretching your investment dollar even further for years to come after racing career has ended. This filly has the versatility ingredients of dirt and distance possibility from Unbridled, dirt and turf possibility speed from Storm Cat, turf and distance possibility from Dehere and of course dirt and distance possibility from Affirmed and Sir Ivor. Basically she has all the key elements along with her size and great disposition to put it all together and perform at a high level. We have had good national and international Graded Stakes success. UPDATE: Last breeze of March 21st 2008, the colt she worked with just seemed to quit after half mile. This filly has been intimidating the colts and this is a big one. She is a very special and talented horse with tons of pedigree bloodlines. That other horse simply spit the bit as if to say "I had enough" The breezes are on a deep tiring track, so helps her develop more lung capacity and muscle strength. NOTE: Miss Buddhafull wins at Aqueduct at Allowance Level. Notice the big track circuit, the big purse 53k and the high level of competition at allowance. Also, she sold for six figures at 125k as a two year old. She won easily and only did what she had too, but drew off clear when roused. She had much left in the tank. Think we know what we are talking about ? Ghostwalker has really improved by astonishing leaps and bounds within the last two breezes and has now signified to us that she is race ready. The astonishing thing is that she disposed of two very good horses in last two works. As a result of the fact that she was a late foal and very big, we decided to take our time with her and let her tell us when she is ready. This patience proved fruitful as it just did not work to our benefit, but to the prospective purchasing client. She is ready to step in there now and be an immediate impact on investment return.
