Liberty’s Beacon—Lovely palomino Missouri Fox Trotter stud colt, nice conformation, great bloodlines, will stay small (he is the smallest of twins--I have both his dam and brother). He just turned three, and my guess is that he will finish around 12.2 - 13 hands. Rare find, I've been looking for a long time for a little guy this nice to breed gaited ponies and shorter horses. He is fine and typey--think Fine Harness (if you have that background).... (read more) Naturally gaited, athletic, gorgeous, sensible, not particularly spooky and never bit, kicked, etc. Easy keeper except when he runs the pasture fenceline with mares nearby--at least he is pretty fit! Would make a very nice gelding...or an EXCELLENT choice for breeding shorter gaited horses for the aging/aching (or younger riders) among us. I never registered him, but have paperwork to do so. Playboy's Sunset Gold sired many excellent show and trail horses before he was sold, gelded, and became a lady's wonderful trail partner. His dam is one of my favorite riding horses, super light and sensitive, smooth, sensible.
