I have received a deposit 8/13/2013 on Champ. Until hurther notice he is concidered SOLD!! Champ is a beautiful gentle giant that stands 15.3 and is 3 yrs old. I've had him since he was 2 years old and broke him myself! He NEVER offered to buck, rear or bolt! It was like he was broke from the beginning. I personally did all the ground work from decentizing with bags, tarps over and under him, hung trash bags with tin cans on the horn of the saddle and lounged him. He's is by far calm, cool, and collect for a 3 yr old. I broke him last year and have been riding him since. He's very smooth and has the willingness to do what you ask of him with no hesitation. I've rode him at Goldthwaite, Tx on his first major trail ride in April 2013. With the bitter cold, wind, wagons, 200 plus horses over roads, threw creeks, up and over rugged terrain, BARE FOOT, and acted like he's been there and done that! He is not aggressive, very well mannered, loves baths, loads easy, and best yet never needs his feet done. He has the best hooves, I've never had them trimmed nor shoed! When we rode Goldthwaite, it was rocky terrian and we rode 15 miles Friday and another Saturday and he never became tender footed. We went down some pretty steep rockey hills. And all I had to do is tell him easy and he walked down them nice and slow as if I was a child on his back. Champ is a wonderful horse and I'm truely going to miss having him around. The ONLY, ONLY, reason why I'm putting him up for sale is because I like riding gaited horses. And he is not, other than that he'd be the one to keep for he is safe, gentle, and has the willingness to do whatever you ask of him. I have some videos of him just showing you how he handles. Has a nice easy trott, slow lope when asked, just a joy to ride. Champ Champ Champ Champ Champ
Champ is a perfect trail horse for he will cross water, mud, goes threw brush, wants to go exploring, and can handle endurance rides. He could possibly be good for barrels for he will turn sharply when asked and willingness to learn more. Or possibly dressage? Give me a call for more information my name is Karen 409-750-1295. Or Jim 254-625-2711, he's rode him as well and really likes his temperment also. He keeps aggravating me that he wants to turn him into a rope horse!!

Rock'n A Ranch -
We raise/train/buy/sell horses for a living. We start a young horse first with ground work and decentize them to be calm, safe and not spooky. And continue on with ground work all the way to breaking them to ride to a finished horse with no buck, rear, or bolt. For the horses that are broke we work with them on whatever issues they may have from decentizing to tune ups. Before we put them up for sale.
We have 50 acres that we use to ride and train: 4 horse walker, 120 ft circle arena with a 50 ft round pen inside it, also a 150 ft x 150 ft riding arena, a mile oval tilled track, threw a large tank, woods with obstacles, etc. Things that you would experiance on a trail ride. As well as ride them along hwys, over bridges, around cattle, dogs, noises, tractors, etc. If we can't ride them we don't sell them!! Unless otherwise noted as in "NOT Broke"!
