Amby started dressage training, and is currently schooling to third level. Best walk I have ever seen, very correct and flashy trot and canter. Schooling half-pass, walk pirouettes, and counter canter. He learns very quickly, great work ethic and maintains a great dialogue with the rider. He gets very attached to his rider, and will follow and play with you when free lunging. Sensitive, but not in a dangerous way. Really looks through the bridle with lovely personality.

He has been started on trails, making him sound and strong but also very well behaved as he knows about the outside world. Small XC or inside jumps no problem, well behaved on lunge, just as good with 5 other horses as all by himself, also fun at clinics-- rare for a young guy! Good motor so needs someone who will give him regular work.

Will start showing training level at local schooling shows until regular season starts. I want him to have the most positive first show experiences possible, as he could go FEI in the future. Will show first and second level this summer, and price will go up.

Good home a must! He would thrive at a busy show barn but also just fine with a few other horses. Can be turned out in group or alone, comes when called, LOVES baths, clips, and loads. Can be on cross-ties for farrier. No vices.
Ambys owner has decided to sell him because he has progressed way beyond her current dressage level. He was born on her property and she originally intended him to be her dressage mount, and cares a lot about him. He has absolutely thrived physically and mentally while being in constant and more challenging upper level training, and she believes that he would be most happy with someone willing to take him up the levels and give him the challenges that she cannot. Ambys owner will be purchasing another foal when Amby has been sold, as she really enjoyed the experience of starting and raising a young horse.
