Chulo is a 6 year old 14.1hh good looking, intelligent buckskin dun Quarter Horse. Although I have his paperwork and he can potentially be registered, I am selling him as a grade horse. In the spring of 2012, Chullo was professionally started for a solid 90 days by an English trainer; however, I have been riding him western since December. He has the potential to do well in either discipline. He is very personable, smart, and very willing to learn new things. He has impeccable ground manners and no bad habits. Chulo is dominate in the herd and will need to have easy going pasture mates or kept individually. He could use some refining on his riding but he has a good foundation on him. He will walk, trot, lope, has a good stop, back up, ect. He would be best suited for a knowledgeable, confident rider that has the time to ride him consistently. He is has never offered to buck or rear, ect. We have to cut our feed bill and although I care for him dearly, we need to find him a new home. Good home only and no beginners please. I would be happy to go over more details or questions you might have.

We realize our students are individuals and learn at their own speed. We just hope to challenge each one of them to learn more about horses and grow in their walk with Christ. In the first classes, they will learn basic horsemanship, proper riding position, cues, etc. Then, when students are ready, they will progress to more advanced maneuvers. Any animal can be dangerous and horses are no exception, however, we take every precaution to keep our students safe. In our program, we use horses that have proper training and good temperaments. Also, we try to meet the individual needs of each student as we take them step by step through our exercises and games.
