Additional Comments:
This beautiful mare is fit, sassy, and VERY ready to get back to the trail! Jackie appears to have had a very good life...her owner's world went to he** and so she was donated to us, not due to any problems with Jackie.
Jackie was an at home riding buddy for many years, then sold to a lady who used her as the ultimate trail mount, going everywhere and doing everything...including the driveup at the local Hardees! When life got in the way, she sold her to a gentleman who used her for trail with his other mare for his teenage daughter (intermediate). Jackie again shined in this role.
Now she's here with us, fit, healthy, current on all medical needs/shots/et al, and ready to go on to a great new home. Water, rivers, bridges, traffic, trucks, this mare has seen it all.
She's also done some local level barrels/poles/gymkhana, and apparently did respectably well and really enjoyed the work. Could do very well at 4H level with an intermediate younger rider...perhaps a child coming along who isn't yet ready for the older sibling's hotter horse...
Jack's has great bloodlines, great manners, and a fun personality. She will mildly test a rider, and once she knows you have an idea what you're doing, she's a joy to ride. She neck reins well for a rider who knows how and she english reins with ease.
Our adoption process is easy, and includes ownership and papers transferring just 6 months after the horse has gone home and the agreed adoption donation has been paid in full. Payment terms are an option in needed circumstances. Our adoption process helps us ensure the horse is happy and in a situation that works for people and animal alike, minimizing the chance the horse will ever need to see a rescue facility again.
