Kaeleb is a wonderful hackney pony, but he needs a firm hand and someone to continue his training.
Here's the story:
I got Kaeleb when I sold my paint pony. Originally I was just going to do a little training on him and then re-sell. But what can I say....I fell in love with him =) At the beginning, you would have thought he was two years old. His ribs were visible, and he was scared of everything. I was able to do a lot of work with him with getting him to trust, and learn lounging. The only bad thing is that with him being so small, I don't dare get on him....there for I can't trust him with a child. The previous owner road him a couple times bareback and before that he was just used as a pasture pet. I have had a bridle on him a couple times and he takes it like a champ....so I do believe that at some point in his life, he has pulled a cart.
I do believe with a little work, he would be good for a child to ride, but in order to do this I think a small adult should ride him a few times first. I believe he would also be good for cart pulling. I am selling because I believe I have done everything I am able to do with him, and he deserves to have training continued-riding, cart, etc.
kaeleb has now been started in ground driving
