Rowdy is 16.2 hands and Gypsy is 17.3 hands; they are siblings and have been owned by the same man since they were purchased as weanlings, and the horses lived and worked in Montana until recently. Rowdy is broke to ride and has been on many elk hunts, leading a pack string of Fjords. With his size and power, he needs an experienced rider and 'plow' reins under saddle. Gypsy has never been trained to ride, but is an awesome harness horse and both have worked in various multiple hitches; have worked all farm equipment, except a baler; have worked on streets with carriages and trolleys; have traveled throughout the western US in wagon trains; logged in Montana for 13 years; and have competed in driving competitions. As a team they require an average teamster and both clip with shears or electric clippers, trail through water and load and haul easily. Rowdy is good to trim, but Gypsy needs stocks to trim her feet. Rowdy and Gypsy are only for sale because their owner has moved to the Astoria, Oregon area for family reasons and he no longer has either enough room to keep the horses nor a place to work them. They are healthy, sound and must sell together although they can easily be separated with no silliness or herd sourness.
PRICE INCLUDES BOTH HORSES and full work harnesses.
